Madera Projects and Design Ltd. was established to bring a more thoughtful, disciplined approach to construction and carpentry in the Greater Vancouver Area. After years working across residential and commercial projects, the company was formed in 2023 to apply that experience under a single standard of execution and accountability.
Built on over ten years of hands-on industry experience, Madera remains family-owned and closely involved in every project it takes on. The focus from the start has been simple: do the work properly, respect the details, and treat each build as something that carries long-term responsibility. That foundation continues to guide how projects are approached today.

Bryan Contreras is the founder of Madera Projects & Design and brings over a decade of hands-on experience in carpentry and construction. His expertise spans formwork, structural framing, exterior finishing, and high-end carpentry installations.
Bryan founded Madera Projects & Design with a focus on providing reliable, high-quality carpentry services to luxury home builders and high-end renovation companies throughout the Lower Mainland. The company works closely with builders, project managers, and trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently, with strong communication, dependable scheduling, and a high level of craftsmanship on every project.
Bryan takes pride in building a skilled and professional crew while continually refining systems and processes within the company so Madera can better support builders, keep projects running smoothly, and consistently deliver work to a high standard.
When he’s not on site, Bryan enjoys focusing on his health, spending time with his family, and continuing to refine systems and processes that help the company better serve its clients and long-term building partners.

Foreman
Ryan serves as a Foreman at Madera Projects & Design and plays a key role in coordinating work on site and ensuring projects run smoothly. With strong experience in structural carpentry and site organization, Ryan works closely with builders, project managers, and trades to keep schedules on track and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
In addition to overseeing crews and coordinating daily tasks, Ryan also works on the tools alongside the team, helping ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining Madera’s focus on quality, safety, and professionalism on site.
Ryan takes pride in delivering consistent results and helping projects move forward smoothly for the builders and teams we partner with.
Braeden
Lead Carpenter
Braeden is a Lead Carpenter at Madera Projects & Design with strong experience in structural framing, formwork, and exterior carpentry. He plays an important role in ensuring structural work is completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining the high standards expected on custom residential projects.
As a lead carpenter, Braeden helps coordinate smaller crews on site and works closely with the foreman and project team to ensure framing layouts, structural components, and exterior carpentry installations are completed to specification.
Braeden takes pride in producing clean, accurate work and contributing to the quality and reliability that builders expect from the Madera team.
Miguel
Carpenter / Finisher
Miguel is a skilled Carpenter and Finisher at Madera Projects & Design with experience in both structural and finish carpentry. His work often focuses on detailed installations, exterior finishes, and the final touches that bring projects together.
Known for his precision and craftsmanship, Miguel takes pride in delivering clean, high-quality work while maintaining efficiency on site.

Apprentice Carpenter
Austin is an Apprentice Carpenter at Madera Projects & Design and is gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of the carpentry trade. He is primarily developing his skills in formwork, structural framing, and exterior finishing while working alongside experienced members of the team.
Through daily site experience, Austin continues to expand his knowledge of construction practices and contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the crew.
He is committed to learning the trade and building a strong foundation for a long-term career in carpentry.
Jeremy
Apprentice Carpenter
Jeremy is an Apprentice Carpenter at Madera Projects & Design and is gaining exposure to all aspects of the carpentry trade while working alongside experienced carpenters on site. His main focus areas include formwork, structural framing, and exterior finishing.
Jeremy continues to build his technical skills through hands-on experience while helping support the team in maintaining productivity and organization on site.
He is motivated to grow within the trade and develop into a well-rounded carpenter.
Ty
Apprentice Carpenter
Ty is an Apprentice Carpenter at Madera Projects & Design and is gaining experience across all aspects of the carpentry trade. His primary focus is developing his skills in structural framing and finishing carpentry while working alongside the team on site.
Through hands-on experience and mentorship, Ty continues to build a strong foundation in the trade while contributing to the overall efficiency of the crew.
He brings a strong work ethic and is committed to growing his skills and career in carpentry.
Anastasia
Administration
Anastasia supports the operations of Madera Projects & Design by managing administrative tasks and helping keep the company organized behind the scenes. She assists with invoicing, documentation, scheduling coordination, and other administrative responsibilities that help ensure projects and client communication run smoothly.
Her role helps support the team in maintaining efficient operations so the crew can stay focused on delivering quality work on site.
