Our Process

Built around clarity, coordination, and disciplined execution

Discover

Drawings & Specs

Every project begins with a careful review of drawings and specifications. We examine how the defined work aligns with structural intent, detailing requirements, and overall build strategy before stepping on site.

This early drawing review ensures the scope is interpreted correctly and allows potential conflicts or coordination concerns to be addressed proactively rather than discovered during execution.

Scope & Sequencing

Once drawings are reviewed, we align the scope with project sequencing. This includes understanding how the work fits within the broader construction timeline and how it interfaces with other trades, inspections, and material lead times.

Clear sequencing prevents overlap, avoids stalled progress, and ensures each phase moves forward with the right scope at the right time.

Build

Site Preparation

Before work begins, we confirm site readiness, access, and coordination with supervision. Layout, staging, and site conditions are assessed so execution can proceed without unnecessary interruption.

Strong preparation reduces friction once work is underway and allows labour and materials to be deployed efficiently.

Phase-Specific
Carpentry Execution

Work is carried out based on the specific phase of the build, whether structural, exterior, or finishing. Each phase is approached with attention to accuracy, consistency, and adherence to drawings and specifications.

Treating each phase as its own scope ensures the work supports inspections, downstream trades, and overall project flow without slowing momentum on site.

Ongoing Updates & Coordination

Throughout execution, communication remains active between site supervision, trades, and project management. Progress updates, coordination points, and adjustments are shared through a project management platform to keep everyone aligned.

We primarily use JobTread to manage schedules, updates, and documentation, but we are also comfortable working within other industry platforms such as Buildertrend, Jobber, CoConstruct, and Procore when clients or project teams prefer them.

Clear, centralized communication helps keep projects organized and prevents small issues from becoming larger disruptions.

Finalize

Closeout
& Scope Sign-Off

Once the work is complete, it is reviewed against the original requirements to confirm all items have been addressed. This final review ensures readiness for inspection, finishing, or turnover.

Closing out scopes thoroughly provides confidence that the work is complete and aligned with expectations, allowing the project to move forward without unresolved details.
